ALLOCATION OF SEATS
On becoming a member the man will be allocated a seat. Its location in the Synagogue will depend on availability & the level of contributions paid. Women are allocated a seat row number.

The man’s seat may be endowed with the Member’s name. A number of seats in the Ladies Gallery are also available to be endowed.

Membership of the Synagogue entitles you, your spouse & your children under the age of 21, to membership of the Chevra Kadisha and as such are entitled to a Tahara (preparation of the body for a funeral) and a burial plot.

Further details & application forms may be obtained from the Office.

Membership contributions may be paid in cash, by cheque, by Standing Order or by Credit Card.

INFORMATION
Members are provided with a very useful publication, entitled “Member’s Guide”.

For information about Burial Rights, check the Web Bereavement tab.

CALENDAR
Prior to Rosh Hashanah, the Synagogue calendar is distributed to members, together with seating tickets for the Yomim Tovim, plus a Services timetable.
Members are invited to sponsor a date in the calendar, in honour of birthdays, anniversaries, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Weddings or a Yahrzeit.

BIMA MAGAZINE
Our highly acclaimed synagogue magazine is distributed annually just before Pesach.
It is usually crammed full with articles from members young and old and even those now living in Israel or further abroad.

The editorial team welcomes articles that may be of interest to the readers.
